Outline of the Course
The TDI Extended Range Diver course concentrates on the proper techniques, equipment requirements, and hazards of deep air (55m maximum) utilising nitrox and oxygen for accelerated decompression. The course places a great deal of emphasis on personal and team limits, shut down procedures, gas switching, DSMB deployment and contingency planning etc. What is included? - Four Open Water Dives - Tuition - Twin Sets - Stage Cylinders - Wing - Harness - Regulators - Air - Dry Suit - Manual - Certification What isn't included? Entry to dive sites (If applicable) Mixed Gases Duration of the course Four days What is required? TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver or equivilant TDI Decompression Procedures Diver or equivilant 100 logged dives, of which 25 must be deeper than 30msw Minimum age: 18 years What is next?
